According to Rep. Jim Jordan, Liz Cheney may not be the #3 Republican in the House for much longer.
While appearing on Fox News primetime, Jordan said that “the votes are there” to remove Cheney as House Republican Conference chair.
He also said this vote “will happen, most likely, next Wednesday.”
Jordan added “She definitely needs to go,” calling the GOP a “pro-America, populist party rooted in conservative principle with Donald Trump as our leader.”
“You can’t have a Republican conference chair reciting Democrat talking points,” Jordan said about Cheney. “You can’t have a Republican conference chair taking a position that 90 percent of the party disagrees with, and you can’t have a Republican party chair consistently speaking out against the individual who 74 million Americans voted for.”
