What’s Happening:
Newt Gingrich was Speaker of the House during the 1990s. When Bill Clinton was president, Newt was able to compromise and make deals—for the good of the nation.
Why what a few years can bring, eh? The current speaker, Nancy Pelosi, is known for her stubbornness, insubordination, and unwillingness to cooperate.
Gingrich had a few choice words for old Nance. And she’s not going to like them.

Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich said Saturday that Nancy Pelosi is probably “the most dangerous” House speaker in history…
“And I would say that she is the most dangerous speaker of the House we’ve had probably in American history because she’s so willing to break the rules and to frankly just say things that are totally untrue,” he said.
Gingrich blasted Pelosi, calling her the “most dangerous” speaker in our history.
The reason? Newt claims Pelosi is all too willing to break rules and say things that are “totally untrue.”
Most Americans who have been paying attention over recent years know what Gingrich is talking about. Pelosi was determined to win back the House, no matter what.
Back in 2018, she promised to work with Republicans—and even refused impeachment.
That all went out the window the moment she became speaker. She is the speaker who refused to negotiate on crucial issues like DACA and COVID relief. She tore up Trump’s SOTU speech in front of the entire country.
She ignored the threat of the pandemic early on. She broke lockdown rules to get her hair done. And she has ignored Constitutional rules to impeach Trump, twice.
Gingrich accused Pelosi of coming from the “center of left-wing nuttiness,” meaning super-liberal San Francisco. Her views, he says, are shaped not by American values, but the agenda of the left-wing.
He accused her of being an elitist who goes with liberal friends “at the country club” or cocktail parties and pretends their view “makes sense.”
Pretty brutal takedown of the speaker. But I have a feeling there are plenty of Americans who would agree. And go even further to question the woman’s sanity and intelligence.
